I have over 12 years of teaching experience in Chemistry both at the IGCSE/AS/A level, IBMYP/IBDP, and Kenyan 8-4-4 curriculum. Currently, I am an AS/A level Chemistry/Physics and General Science teacher at Arusha International School. Previously, I taught the same subjects at Nova Pioneer Schools in Nairobi, Kenya for the last 7 years. I also previously taught general Science and Chemistry at St. Mary’s School in Nairobi. I develop and offer learner-centered lessons coupled with hands-on activities and real-life scenarios to help learners develop critical thinking skills that are geared towards finding 21st-century solutions to 21st-century challenges. My teaching approaches also mitigate the use of environmentally friendly approaches that aim at reducing environmental pollution.

Hobbies
I am an ardent soccer fan and trainer. I also love reading adventure books and traveling to new places. I also spend time writing articles on teaching and learning. Most of my articles seek to champion for the need to have safe classroom spaces where learners have the freedom to think critically and solve problems to real-life challenges without the fear that they will be victimised.
